Six evidence-based modules containing recommendations and practice points to guide clinical decisions and coordination of health carefor patients requiring blood or blood products. The six modules focus on appropriate use, reducing infections, and reducing the need for blood transfusions to improve patient outcomes in the followingclinical scenarios:Critical Bleeding/Massive Transfusion; Perioperative; Medical (acute or chronicconditions); Critical Care; Obstetrics; Paediatrics/Neonates.
Supported by the National Blood Authority Australia,both this app and the BloodSafe IDA Algorithm Appaim to educate clinicians and promote evidence-based patient blood management.
